Prensa Salesiana, Luis Natale Strazzieri y el primer texto educativo salesiano impreso en el Ecuador.

Abstract

Este artículo presenta el análisis del primer texto educativo impreso por los salesianos en el Ecuador. Se documenta parte de la vida pastoral del sacerdote italiano Luis Natale Strazzieri (LNS), autor del texto e impulsor de los talleres de tipografía e imprenta de la Congregación Salesiana en el país. Es una mirada al contexto histórico del Ecuador y de la realidad de los salesianos en él durante 1920, la cual permitirá al lector situarse en lo que acontecía en el tiempo de impresión del libro: “Manual de Historia del Ecuador”. La exposición del análisis de contenido y bibliográfico del texto abarca gran parte del trabajo, en donde la revisión de bitácoras, crónicas y memorias de algunas comunidades salesianas del Ecuador lo vuelven rico en materia de veracidad e historia, siendo los documentos del Archivo Histórico Inspectorial Salesiano y los de EdiBosco las principales fuentes de este artículo.//

This article presents the analysis of the first educational text printed by the Salesians in Ecuador. part of the pastoral life of the Italian priest Luis Natale Strazzieri (LNS), author of the text and promoter of typography and printing workshops of the Salesian Congregation in the country is documented.
