| Abstract: | This thesis Project comes from the idea of photographing the mining activity in Zaruma, activity has been one of the principal economical sources of this place. Mining is very important for this region, is the reason that born the requirement to show through photos the work of the miners. It's important say that there are some documentary films about this topic, but it is the first time that has been done a photograph sample of Zaruma's mining. |
| Translated abstract: | Este proyecto de titulación nace de la idea de fotografiar la actividad minera en Zaruma, actividad que ha sido uno de los sustentos económicos principales del cantón. La minería es muy importante para esta región; por ello es que nace la necesidad de evidenciar mediante fotografías las labores de los mineros. Cabe recalcar que existen algunos documentales de video sobre este tema, pero es la primera vez que se realiza una muestra fotográfica que evidencie la minería en Zaruma. |
