Abstract

The patterns identified in this research project were used to determine if the athletes involved in the research had the ideal somatotype for the specific type of race that they are specializing also to record and analyse the body modifications along a training macrocycle. The sporting gesture of each rider was determined using the technical method cycling biomechanics in order to position the cyclists properly on their bikes.
