Abstract

The central idea of this project is to provide the Department of factory systems of packaging, FADESA tools that help to improve the management of documentation of its assets of networking and end user, so as to improve the availability and reliability of this information, this will help to be able to resolve problems related to the network and to reduce the time of resolution. This will develop different topics throughout this document, which include from the generalities of tools to use, the identification for the labelling, documentation needed according to the ANSI/EIA/TIA 606 (which includes the drawings of the Data Center and network points), until you reach the conclusions and recommendations of the project. At present most of these large companies are medium or small are taking greater control with respect to their networking equipment, as these require a thorough and careful attention to remain in good condition, and of course to the company to operate properly, they are also items that make up the fixed assets of the company, which is why technological tools to facilitate the control of each of its assets are deployed. This project aims to improve the management of asset documentation networking company FADESA implementing open source tools, after making an analysis of the need to cover deployments test environments and gathering information required in order to take these tools accurate and reliable information is made, and fulfill the purpose of this project is to automate inventory management of networking.
