Influencia del bullying en el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de 3ro de bachillerato en el año 2023-2024

Abstract

Academic performance is a susceptible concept that adopts different quantitative and qualitative values such as knowledge, attitudes and skills, refined by teaching resources, It should be noted that academic performance is an intricate network of cognitive junctures that in an educational environment can be negatively influenced when related to bullying, which is a practice characterized by the deliberate repetition of aggressive behaviors whose main actors are students in a school environment, this type of violence is based on an imbalance of power of one or more individuals whose purpose is to harass, intimidate or exercise dominance over those they perceive as vulnerable. The objective of this study is to identify the influence of bullying on academic performance. The methodology applied in the research work was a quantitative approach, where a survey was used to measure the level of knowledge about bullying and two instruments were also used: After applying these instruments, it was concluded that 83% of the sample had a very good level in their school profile, a very good level in the family dimension (50%) and in their personal profile a very good level or without pathologies of personality traits, considered factors that affect academic performance
