Abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop an alternative both in design and construction of a claw type crushing machine to process rubber waste with the which can offer a safer resource in terms of materials management, conservation of environment regarding the handling and crushing of rubber waste. In the Ecuadorian framework or territory, it is evident in many industrial sectors and not industrial applications the accumulation of waste rubber materials such as tires or automotive tires that, once their life or use cycle has ended, do not have of an appropriate form of further treatment such as recycling. As a result of the little and limited development of alternatives for waste shredding or waste, the need and importance arises to cover this topic as a thesis project to increase the study about the management of this process of handling and manipulation of rubber waste, which will help both the industrial and non-industrial sectors and the community in general.
