Abstract

Over time, the knowledge of the cantons has been left aside, considering that the big cities take away the tourist attraction of what ecuador is, a country full of beautiful people, colorful landscapes, places of interest, a very extensive gastronomy among others, that is why the present investigation reveals more about what this country has, and for this it is focused on the cantons of the ecuadorian coast, expanding in a rich knowledge about the cantons that are going to be investigated and develop in radial capsules, highlighting their characteristics and relevant data. the knowledge about the cantons of the ecuadorian coast is the main objective of the research of this project, which is to demonstrate the customs and traditions of the cantons involved in this communicative thesis that will be transmitted through radio informative capsules, with which it will be possible to identify the different customs and traditions, experiences of the inhabitants, and see from a different perspective what the people from these places relate through interviews where important points are highlighted such as: origin, the process of cantonization of each canton, the customs and traditions that one canton stands out from another, myths and legends that are very peculiar in the cantons of the ecuadorian coast, among other topics that will be developed as the investigation of the case is processed. the study methodology is of an investigative nature, using qualitative research, based on a wide and deep investigation of what the cantons are, in addition to interviews that tell life stories of what each canton is characterized with, this provides the help of the collection of information that will be used for research.
