Incidencia de la depresion en niños, niñas y adolescentes en situacion de trabajo infantil

Abstract

Depression in children in child labor situations directly affects their social skills, cognitive and physical development, and in many occasions the loss of growth stages due to activities that do not correspond to their age. This research emphasizes the incidence of depression in children who have been exposed to child labor throughout their lives. This bibliographic review was carried out through the systematization of information presented by several authors on the subject. At the end of this work it was possible to analyze the risk factors in child labor of minors such as: socioeconomic factors, social inequality (poverty), school absenteeism. In addition, it describes the depressive symptoms that originate in child laborers and how these are directly related to the causes.
