Abstract

This research seeks to propose an environmental management plan for the Chalpar ecotourism center and the Chalpar river micro-basin in order to provide alternatives for the conservation of natural resources, counteracting and minimizing the negative environmental impacts that have been caused in recent years by different activities such as agriculture, livestock and tourism, for this the first thing that was carried out is a survey of the baseline in order to determine the current environmental situation of the sector including the identification and evaluation of environmental impacts, the determination of the regulations current environment, the description of the physical, biotic and socioeconomic environment, among other aspects of the study area. This will identify, interpret and prevent the consequences and effects that certain events or actions may cause on the environment, therefore on human health and well-being in addition to the natural environment. Finally, the conclusions reached with the investigation will be presented, as well as the appropriate recommendations proposed for the improvement of environmental performance in the sector
