Formación docente y calidad educativa en una unidad educativa de Quito

Abstract

The purpose of this case analysis work is to recognize the importance of teacher training as the main point to reach the maximum limit of learning in an educational institution in Quito. According to the obtaining of the inquisition on this enigma, interviews with teachers of the institution were proposed, with the purpose of organizing and structuring the information collected. In the same way, direct observation was carried out in order to obtain another perspective of what happens in the educational field in question of the subject. The uprising of the information has a qualitative aspect, despite the fact that formal interviews were carried out jointly with two teachers and an inspector general of the institution, at the same time a non-participatory observation of the activities of both teachers and children was maintained in order to put it together. with what was expressed in the possible interviews. The results obtained decree that teacher training in said institution does not allow reaching the educational quality determined in the Ecuadorian regulations, since teachers do not receive permanent updates, which creates a gap to restore work in the classrooms within the aforementioned institution.
