Proceso de revictimización en niños, niñas y adolescentes maltratados y abusados sexualmente

Abstract

Sexual abuse in childhood and adolescence, is one of the most serious crimes in society even though they are not only an attack on sexual integrity and sexual intimacy, but also constitute a violation of their rights related to their decency to physical and psychological safety, dignity and peace among other rights that are recognized. In this way, national and international laws exist; on one side it regulates the prohibition of infringing the rights of NNA, and on the other prohibits not victimizing them within a trial, as this activity inferred on emotional maturity of NNA. From the filing of complaint, children victims of sexual crimes are integrated into the judicial process, characterized by excess cases, insufficient financial resources, and lack of trained people to help with their problems, so it could be a risk of being forgotten. There is no care for psychological effects that crime generates on victim because they are not provide of specialized attention by taking care the victim as a test within the legal course, rather than assist in their recovery process.
