Diseño del sistema de alcantarillado combinado para la etapa I y II del barrio “Comité Agropecuario Constructivo Pueblo en Desarrollo y Progreso” parroquia Guamaní, cantón Quito, provincia de Pichincha

Abstract

To address the unsanitary wastewater conditions in the CACPUDEP neighborhood, located in the Guamaní parish of Quito canton, a combined sewer system was designed to benefit its residents with excellent wastewater treatment. Information was gathered for the hydraulic analysis of the system, including topographic, socio-economic, and existing and collateral problems in neighboring communities related to the sewer system's infrastructure. The design was then developed using Excel to optimize material usage with more readily available lengths and diameters. This project will benefit the residents, adhering to EMAAPS-2009 municipal standards and verifying its design using SEWERGEEMS software, which designs the sewer system based on precise data such as design flow, lengths, diameters, and elevations, along with corresponding plans.
