Análisis sismorresistente de edificación con estructura metálica de cuatro niveles para servicio público en Portoviejo

Abstract

The research analyzes the seismic behavior of a four-story metal building in Portoviejo, designed for public service. Structural steel was used, considering dead, live, and seismic loads representative of the area. Linear static and spectral dynamic analyses were applied to evaluate displacements, drifts, and internal forces, proposing a safe, reliable, and efficient structure for the local community. Additionally, the speed of construction and adaptability of the design for future modifications are highlighted.
