Resumen traducido: | There were two naturals products, essential oils of C. sativa (cannabis) and B. latifolia (chilca), were applied with anti-inflammatories ingredients in an ointment of topical application. To measure the efficacy, the various formulas designed based on these two essential oils were evaluated in-vivo, using the method of inducing plantar edema in rats, as a positive control an over-the-counter formulation with the active ingredient diclofenac at 1% was used. The chemical evaluation of the two oils presented the following main components for chilca oil: liguloxide 14.02%, andro encecalinol 9.84%, kesano 7.53%, limonene 5.6%, and Z-cadin-4-en-7-ol with 5.03%. ; while in cannabis essential oil the most abundant molecules were: E-caryophyllene 27.91%, myrcene 21.19%, α-pinene 8.05%, α-humulene 8.03%, limonene 7.18%, terpinolene 7.12% and β-pinene 4.68 %. The results of the investigation indicate that those formulas with mixtures of the two essential oils in the formulation at 1% are those that have the greatest anti-inflammatory activity, from the statistical point of view the significance is high concerning the positive control in those whose Oil composition is as follows: 75% cannabis essential oil and 25% chilca oil, and 50% cannabis essential oil and 50% chilca oil. The rest of the formulations show activity, but this is similar to that of the commercial formula used as a control. From the results found, both natural products can be proposed as anti-inflammatories, and the design and commercialization of topical pharmaceutical drugs using these two essential oils can be foreseen. |
