Análisis del tratamiento informativo en torno a la violencia de género, estudio de caso defensor del pueblo, Freddy Carrión, transmitido por el noticiero 24 horas, mayo – noviembre 2021

Abstract

Gender violence in recent years has been discussed as a topic of social naturalness, where situations of aggressiveness are determined that are infringed against the integrity and physical, mental and emotional health of women who are the most common victims. Emphasizing that many times this violence is prolonged in various media that broadcast it as something natural and society receives it without any educational assimilation. Therefore, the importance of proceeding with this research on the case study "Ombudsman" broadcast by Teleamazonas 24h newscast from May to November 2021. On this, the research question formulated is: ¿What is the journalistic treatment made by the informative newscasts on cases of gender violence? The objective of this study is to analyze the informative treatment of gender violence, the Carrión case study broadcast by Noticiero 24 Horas. To do so, it will be necessary to determine the problem of gender violence arising from social inequality in Ecuador. To identify the structure of these news stories and their diffusion in the media. And to analyze the informative treatment, so that in the future we can objectively discern this problem from other communicational aspects. The analysis of the informative treatment is based on the violation of human rights through a violent imposition of dominance, especially towards women
