El uso de material didáctico en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en el área de ciencias naturales en cuarto año de educación básica

Abstract

The present investigation has as a problem the learning of the CCNN, since teachers do not use a variety of didactic materials in the area, since they use predetermined material and do not contribute to an active learning of the students. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the didactic material within the learning process with fourth grade students enrolled in the Natural Sciences group in an educational establishment in Quito. It was developed from the year 2022 to 2023. The methodological approach was qualitative, consisting of a case study in which the inductive approach in a case study in which the inductive approach was applied along with observation, literature review, guided interviews. In order to accomplish it, observation guides and interview guides were developed in advance. Results have been divided according to specific objectives. The first is related to the theories on didactic material; the second, to the materials used by teachers; and the third, to the phases of the class and the didactic material. The most outstanding finding was the importance of using didactic material in Natural Sciences classes for students to understand the topics. In conclusion, the use of didactic material is important in the learning process of teachers and students, because it motivates participation, interest and creativity
