Análisis de factibilidad para la implementación de un Tecnicentro Automotriz en la parroquia La Argelia, cantón Quito, provincia de Pichincha, año 2024

Abstract

The essential purpose of this work lies in evaluating the viability of establishing an Automotive Technicentro in the La Argelia parish, Quito canton, Pichincha province, for the year 2024. This analysis includes market, technical, economic and environmental studies, carried out through a quantitative approach. The research design is descriptive, allowing market phenomena to be characterized through the application of instruments such as surveys and observation sheets. The project focuses on the most feasible processes for the development of the Automotive Technicenter. A technical study has been prepared that proposes crucial aspects such as physical infrastructure, macro and micro strategic location, and the administrative organization of the project. In addition, it seeks to determine profitability through a financial-economic study, using calculations of the Net Added Value and the Internal Rate of Return. As a complement, the environmental study identifies possible environmental risks associated with the implementation of the project, proposing solutions to mitigate them and ensure sustainable and responsible development from an environmental point of view. The market analysis revealed an unmet demand of 51,8% in relation to current services in the La Argelia parish. In response, the location of the Automotive Tecnicentro is proposed in the Lucha de los Pobres neighborhood, identified as a strategic sector for the project. From an economic and financial perspective, the project is presented as feasible and profitable, with a Net Added Value (NPV) of $19,111.31 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 22.98%. In summary, this feasibility study is based on a comprehensive analysis that supports the viability of the project. It addresses technical, economic and environmental aspects, projecting the implementation of the Automotive Tecnicentro as a beneficial and sustainable initiative for the community.
