dc.descriptionLa presente investigación, analiza el costo y eficiencia de sistemas de tratamiento en la PTAR de Acchayacu, Tarqui. Se compararon un filtro anaerobio y un humedal. Los datos recopilados abarcaron agosto del 2022 a mayo de 2023. Se evaluaron costos mensuales de personal, insumos y movilización. Además, se caracterizaron muestras de agua y se compararon las eficiencias de remoción de DBO, DQO y CT. Los resultados indican que el humedal supera al filtro anaerobio, destacando su potencial como alternativa efectiva para el tratamiento de aguas residuales rurales en la PTAR de Acchayacu.spa
dc.description.abstractThe present research analyzes the cost and efficiency of treatment systems at the Acchayacu Wastewater Treatment Plant (PTAR) in Tarqui. An anaerobic filter and a wetland were compared. The data collected spanned from August 2022 to May 2023. Monthly costs for personnel, supplies, and transportation were evaluated. Additionally, water samples were characterized, and the removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, and TSS were compared. The results indicate that the wetland outperforms the anaerobic filter, highlighting its potential as an effective alternative for rural wastewater treatment at the Acchayacu PTAR.spa
