| Resumen traducido: | The present degree project is an investigative/comparative study of the compressive strength between concrete with partial replacement of fine aggregate by crushed polyethylene and plain concrete; this material was added to the concrete, partially replacing the fine aggregate in three percentages: 15%, 30%, and 45%. The obtained reductions in strengths are: 17%, 17.4%, and 20.1%, respectively. Additionally, weight reductions of 1.54%, 4.23% and 4.73% were obtained for the mentioned percentages. |
| Resumen : | El presente trabajo de titulación es un estudio investigativo/comparativo de la resistencia a compresión entre un hormigón con sustitución parcial del árido fino por polietileno triturado y un hormigón simple; este material se agregó al hormigón sustituyendo parcialmente el árido fino en tres porcentajes 15%, 30% y 45%. La reducción de resistencias obtenida es: 17%, 17.4% y 20.1 % respectivamente, así también se obtuvo una reducción de pesos de: 1.54 %, 4.23% y 4.73% para porcentajes mencionados. |
