Plan de mejora de la calidad mediante la gestión por procesos y la normativa ISO 9001:2015 para un taller de mantenimiento automotriz de la ciudad de Guayaquil

Abstract

The present research work entitled "Reduction of times in the welding processes in naval structures" aims to make an improvement proposal to reduce the times in the welding process in naval structures. In accordance with the characteristics of this project, it was decided to apply a type of research with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) which involves a group of procedures such as the Ishikawa diagram, surveys and the application of the 5S methodology, these being linked to repairs, the times and the culmination of welding processes in a company dedicated to the repair of naval structures. The present plan to be exposed is related to the improvement of the quality in process management according to the ISO 9001 standard, with the purpose of solving needs that affect the Automotive Workshop precisely on issues of maintenance processes, customer service, strategic planning, standards and policies, data record. Therefore, a process quality improvement plan is proposed, based on ISO 9001 and the Kaizen method. The ISO 9001 standard will allow the establishment of a quality management system in order to obtain an increase in productivity, reduce unnecessary costs and guarantee the quality of the processes in the maintenance area of the Automotive Workshop. While the Kaizen method is a comprehensive system designed to improve both companies and the processes and activities that would arise, as well as workers. In this project, it is of importance and interest to implement a continuous improvement plan in the provision of services in the automotive workshop. This ISO 9001:2015 management method allows optimizing operations and procedures aimed at satisfying customer needs in relation to the product or service offered. This continuous improvement encourages teamwork, efficiency and optimization of resources, facilitating the consequence of business objectives.
