Discursos eróticos y sus prácticas comunicativas en la red social tinder.

Abstract

This research presents an comprehension of the erotic discourses and communicative practices that arise in the dating application Tinder in Ecuador. First, a state of the art is carried out in which contributions of different authors are exposed that reflect to the changes in the forms of communication that technology has caused over time; in this sense, the contributions and theories of authors such as: Bauman, Linne, Byung Chul Han and Bataille to explain those characteristics that make up the discourse of seduction in contemporary times and the way in which socio-affective relationships have transcended from the physical to the virtual, also interpreting the construction and deconstruction of social and human relationships that are practiced within the application under study from the description of the different tools and functions that the Tinder interface allows when establishing social or affective links. To bring this analysis closer to the Ecuadorian reality and to understand the construction of socio-affective relationships, a survey of a mixed population, in-depth interviews with active users of Tinder, and an interview with the specialist Edgar Vega, expert in communication and master's professor at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, where relevant data is collected on the intentionality of use, habits, behaviors and constructions around the relationships that emerge from the use of the app, thus allowing to verify the transformation in the current communicative practices.
