Implementación de módulos didácticos del sistema de arranque y carga del automóvil para las prácticas de electricidad automotriz en los Talleres Escuela San Patricio (TESPA)

Abstract

This project details the implementation of didactic modules of the automobile starting and charging system for automotive electricity practices in the Talleres Escuela San Patricio (TESPA), belonging to the Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle Zona Norte, which provides craft technical training for adolescents and young people in vulnerable situations. For this reason, the technical capacity and infrastructure of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana is offered to design and build teaching modules that meet international standards, thereby improving the teaching system in technical training in automobile electrical systems. The starting and charging systems of the automobile are a fundamental part of the academic training of the students, which is why it is necessary to provide various didactic modules, where theoretical and practical teaching can be covered; therefore, the implementation of two training modules for the starting system, two training modules for the charging system and one training module for the sectioning of the starter motor are necessary. The collection of detailed information to define the technical elements of the starting and charging systems included in the design of the didactic modules is the first step, to later analyze the operation in the car and from there define the common elements and the particularities that they must be included in the design of the didactic modules: finally, applying the knowledge in automotive design, CAD programs will be used to generate models of the didactic modules of the different systems that will be subsequently manufactured according to the dimensions and characteristics required by the users. . The installed starter motors belong to the Chevrolet brand, Aveo and Vitara models; in alternators there are Optra and Aveo; the selection of them, is thought that they are highly commercialized vehicles in Ecuador, in addition, they are very didactic components for a correct teaching.
