Abstract

The reason for the investigation is to document these traditional dances, since they are activities that rescue traditions and promote knowledge in citizenship. This audiovisual product is intended for the general public, children, youth and adults who are interested in culture and are willing to rescue the traditional values of Colombian folklore. As for the thematic content, it is an ethnographic and cultural documentary, since it focuses mainly on folk dance and this is part of the culture and folklore of the Department of Córdoba (Lima Andeam, 2018). The methodology that has been used for the communicative product is qualitative, since this approach applies open interviews and participant observation and to be able to collect fundamental data in the documentary, and the technique that will be used is participant observation, this procedure is widely used. in qualitative research, The objectives of this research is to produce a thirty-minute audiovisual documentary that visualizes the tradition of folk dance in the Department of Córdoba, Colombia, compiling information on Cordobés folklore and its traditional dances as a legacy of our richness and diversity. cultural, Identifying the types of folk dances and their history, collect reflections and testimonies on the possible loss of folklore and traditions of the Department through interviews with its highest representatives.
