Abstract

The non-existent continuous training of the teaching staff of technical baccalaureate, especially in relation to digital skills for education, in times of pandemic has become increasingly evident, because in educational institutions there are teachers with difficulties in handling the computer and other electronic devices to connect to the Internet, manage and interact in virtual learning environments, these are understood as limitations to educationally use technological resources and materials for the teaching of disciplines of the technical baccalaureate, a reality that is particularly observed in the professional figure of Accounting. From this problematic, the general objective of this paper is to propose educational innovation through the use of techno-pedagogical resources for the formation of technical baccalaureates. In order to achieve this objective, it is necessary to describe the educational situation of the technical baccalaureate regarding the processes and resources applied for teaching and learning and to determine effective techno-pedagogical resources that allow establishing proposals to improve the teaching and learning process in the technical baccalaureate to achieve the graduation profiles of the baccalaureate in accounting. The methodology used is of a descriptive historical type, a review of research has been made in addition to the documentary review of curricular instruments, we worked with non-participant observation and the application of surveys to students and teachers of baccalaureate in accounting. It is obtained as a result that to improve the profile of the graduate of the technical baccalaureate in Accounting, the platforms of public institutions such as the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, Internal Revenue Service, Ministry of Labor should be used and work with free applications for mobile devices such as the technical accounting simulator and accounting dictionaries, these resources allow the realization of processes associated with accounting management in various economic activities. It can be concluded that the formative process for the development of labor skills in the bachelor's degree in accounting can be improved from an approach to current accounting tools that operate in the world of work.
