Análisis, diseño, construcción e implementación de un sistema Web para la gestión de datos meteorológicos mediante la utilización de un API

Abstract

This project proposes a web system to provide meteorological data using an API, capable of transmitting the data to users freely and easily. The system manages to offer historical atmospheric information of the cities of Ecuador, it also allows observing the climate of all the countries of the world, facilitating the downloading of data in different types of formats. The main objective of this project is the creation of a system that allows obtaining detailed and useful information on meteorological data, this system is formed by a database and a set of ETL processes, in charge of displaying data on temperature, precipitation, humidity, cloud cover and wind speed and a web system to visualize them. The first chapter describes the problem of the lack of web systems where they provide meteorological data, emphasizing the need for a strategy to solve it. The second chapter refers to the theoretical framework and the characteristics of all the elements integrated in the web system carried out. The main objective that the web system pursues successfully for the ease of obtaining meteorological data is announced. The third chapter exposes the operation of the system through sequence diagrams and finally we have the conclusions and recommendations of the web system.
