Abstract

This work deals with the development of the empowerment of CODEMIA-C-PM for the benefit of the communities of users of water for irrigation in the cantons Cayambe and Pedro Moncayo of the Province of Pichincha. The object of research was to know the level of incidence of CODEMIA C-PM in the construction of social, political and power relations of the peasant-indigenous territory Cayambe - Pedro Moncayo in order to achieve a sustainable and sustainable management of water for all users, based on the principles of equity, justice, solidarity and reciprocity that are typical of the indigenous world. The methodology used was the following; We proceeded to collect the information corresponding to observation techniques and instruments such as the interview and the survey in order to give rise to the empowerment processes produced in the CODEMIA C-PM. Once the proposed objectives have been fulfilled, the results obtained will be communicated to all professionals who are interested in knowing the process of empowerment and social struggle generated by water in our country and as a benchmark in Latin America.
