Lengua, sujeto e historia: el ecuavoley y la interacción simbólica en la cultura ecuatoriana

Abstract

This research was based on the Language, the subject, and the history of the equator, and the symbolic interaction that it generates in the Ecuadorian culture, with the primary objective of presenting theoretical data on this sporting discipline, with an in-depth study of its origin and its impact in today's society, where sport has an active and dynamic way of communication, which allows people to achieve a sense of belonging with it, it is here where they feel recognized by sport and defend it, where the sense of competitiveness is achieved without enjoying an age barrier or sexual preference, both men and women, or also the child or adult, play sports. This research is complemented with Symbolic Interactionism which is one of the methodological currents that focuses on understanding the process of assigning symbols with meanings either to written or spoken language together with behavior in social interaction. For the execution of this academic article, various testimonies to the people who are immersed both internally and externally in this very striking and peculiar sport were analyzed. This research has a qualitative axis, which allows to acquire a better understanding of the attitudes, beliefs, motives, behaviors and the interaction of the Ecuadorian culture linked to the sport of equatorial football.
