Automatización del proceso de titulación de la Carrera de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana Campus Sur, a través de la utilización de la herramienta Microsoft Power Automate

Abstract

This document describes the creation of an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for data processing of the System Engineering Degree Unit of the Salesian Polytechnic University that will allow the automation of processes with the benefit of be manipulated without the need to modify the source code. The objective of the project is to achieve speed and security in administrative work that goes hand in hand with the "new normal" that we are living, that is, students, teachers and administrative staff must modify, create, suppress and achieve the degree processes in an online way to follow the biosecurity standards resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic to avoid risks. The project is based on the need for the different authorities that make up the process of the Degree Unit, for having a system that allows the management of applications and the review of documents from a single platform and that the responses to all these processes are automatic , it will be viewed from any device and you will have the freedom to handle it in real time, using a Microsoft Power Automate tool (Microsoft Docs, 2020), which provides that all these processes are handled in an agile way. The results achieved will be optimal, both students, teachers and administrators will have an agile and friendly automated platform that allows them to develop the degree processes in the shortest time possible and in an assertive way within the stages that are stipulated and with support such as emails. in a correct way
