Auditoría eléctrica basada en la normativa internacional ISO 50001 aplicado a la “Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Bilingüe Saminay - El Legado”

Abstract

The importance of having an efficient energy consumption in the productive sectors by applying quality standards has been gaining strength, however this type of management despite being able to be used in any type of organization, have not been applied in the education sector, for this reason this project aims to conduct an electrical audit based on the International Standard ISO 50001 applied to the "Intercultural Bilingual Community Education Unit Saminay - El Legado", in which the necessary information of the electrical system will be collected, verifying elements and equipment that are in the educational center, to give a diagnosis that allows to identify if the educational center has an efficient use of energy based on the guidelines of the International Standard ISO 50001. Finally, a new electrical design is proposed that complies with energy policies based on the ISO 50001 international standard, which guarantees a better working environment, correcting weaknesses and implementing new elements that protect the electrical system and its beneficiaries; additionally, an economic proposal is made for the changes that are suggested to improve the electrical system in the institution.
