Diseño del sistema de agua potable y saneamiento para el recinto Los Guayabillos de la parroquia Bellavista del cantón Santa Cruz, provincia de Galápagos

Abstract

The Santa Cruz canton of the Galápagos province does not have a potable water and sanitation system, the lack of these two very essential systems has caused discomfort among the inhabitants of the sector due to the health problems that exist. The objective of the project is to provide a solution to these problems with the implementation of the potable water and sanitation system for the Los Guayabillos enclosure. The potable water system consists of a deep well catchment, the raw water with the help of a submersible pump will be driven to the treatment plant that consists in its first instance of a tray aerator, settler and suitable to accumulate water in the low reserve 1, of which the desalination plant, as a result of water suitable for human consumption and accumulated in the low reserve tank 2, by means of pumping it rises to the high reserve of 20 m3, for its subsequent distribution to the population. The system is designed following the current standards of SENAGUA. The sanitation system is carried out by means of single-family biodigesters, with water drag. The environmental impact analysis will help us to give solutions to possible effects that the execution of the project may present. Through economic and financial analysis, the economic indicators (VAN, TIR, B/C), determine that the execution of the project is viable until the end of the design period.
