| dc.description | The following Titling Project describes the analysis of data of the initial network and the Data Center of Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, for the proposed restructuring of the data network and data center design was used the network methodology PPDIOO and Top- Dow. A demilitarized zone (DMZ) was used for the data network, also the hierarchical model of 3 layers, Core, Distribution and Access. Using the OPNET simulator, it was possible to compare the initial state network with the proposed network, obtaining statistical data of the traffic generated by the servers and thus the use of each user of the network can be observed. Finally, the different budgets of equipment, technical feasibility study and economic feasibility study were made to choose the most viable proposal, with their respective advantages for Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, taking into account availability, security and scalability that are very important factors. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente Proyecto de Titulación describe el análisis de datos de la red inicial y el Data Center de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, para la propuesta de reestructuración de la red de datos y diseño del Data Center se utilizó la metodología de red PPDIOO y Top-Dow. Para la red de datos se utilizó una zona desmilitarizada (DMZ), también el modelo jerárquico de 3 capas, Core, Distribución y Acceso. Mediante el simulador OPNET se pudo comparar la red de estado inicial con la red propuesta, obteniendo datos estadísticos del tráfico generado por los servidores y así se podrá observar el uso de cada usuario de la red. Finalmente se realizó los diferentes presupuestos de equipos, estudio de factibilidad técnica como económica para elegir la propuesta más viable, con sus respectivas ventajas para la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, tomando en cuenta disponibilidad, seguridad y escalabilidad que son factores muy importantes. | en_US |
