Abstract

The following research project exposes Ecuadorian identity from the nuances of art, fully highlighting the value of traditional music as a means of cultural expression of our society. It highlights the historicity of the corridor genre, as one of the representative sounds of Ecuador of which there is a variety of artists who have stood out nationally and internationally for decades. Within the description of the work, the life and work of the renowned Ecuadorian artist, Fresia Saavedra Gómez, is highlighted. As a reference, a sound product, her anecdotes and musical achievements, as well as her collaborations and contributions with the Ecuadorian community . It also adheres to the intervention of the famous singer, Hilda Murillo, direct relative of Dona Saavedra.
