Implementación de la metodología Kanban en los laboratorios de Ingeniería Automotriz de la Universidad Politecnica Salesiana Sede Cuenca

Abstract

The study proposes to optimize the management of the Automotive Engineering laboratories at UPS Cuenca through Kanban. The lack of an efficient system to manage the 23 work spaces is identified, affecting productivity. Problems in the infrastructure, tool control and lack of monitoring are analyzed. Surveys confirm the need to improve management. It is proposed to implement a visual board, structured work orders and shelving coding. It is also suggested to digitize practice guides and optimize the use of space for more efficient management.
