Evaluación y repotenciación de la conducción, planta de tratamiento y sistema de distribución de agua, de la Junta de Agua Potable de Victoria del Portete y Tarqui, provincia del Azuay, Ecuador

Abstract

Victoria del Portete and Tarqui have grown in population, increasing the demand for drinking water. The current system has low pressure, insufficient flow rates, and tanks that empty during peak hours. The study evaluated the infrastructure through surveys and hydraulic modeling, projecting demand over 30 years. It proposes upgrading the conveyance, treatment, and distribution systems with new pipes, valves, pumps, and tanks to supply 14,576 inhabitants in 2055.
