Mejoramiento vial en 2,26 km de longitud de la calle “De Los Nísperos” en la parroquia Amaguaña, cantón Quito, provincia Pichincha

Abstract

The main objective of the project is the improvement of “De Los Nísperos” street, which has a length of 2.26 km, located in the Cuendina and Santa Rosa neighborhoods of the Amaguaña parish. The purpose is to directly benefit the surrounding neighborhoods, promoting the agricultural-livestock impulse, as well as encouraging tourism in the Pasochoa Ecological Reserve, providing comfort and serviceability in the study section, reducing travel times and optimizing vehicular traffic. The preliminary works to begin with the road improvement, begin with field work such as: Georeferenced topographic survey to identify the geomorphological characteristics of the terrain of the project road. Subsequently, a vehicle count is carried out, which helps to determine all the types of vehicles that will travel on the road; with this data the projected TPDA is obtained. Laboratory work continues with different tests such as: the design CBR with 85% compaction, data that conditions the design and use of the wearing course; according to the TPDA study, a class IV road with a cobblestone-type wearing course was determined. With the information obtained, we proceeded to carry out the vertical and horizontal geometric design, following the parameters of the Ministry of Public Works standard (MOP 2003). With data obtained from the book, Determination of equations for the calculation of maximum precipitation intensities (INAMHI, 2019), the precipitation intensities of the sector were established, with which the flow rates were determined for the design of the drainage system, giving users safety and comfort when traveling on the road.
