Abstract

The purpose of this titling project is to estimate the costs associated with earthquake-resistant foundations for social housing, obtained through the analysis of the load-transmitting structural elements and the geotechnical characteristics of the implantation site, for which an analysis of the prices generated by both a foundation slab and a foundation slab will be carried out. foundation beams and slab with foundation beams, for which it is essential to carry out the analysis of the unit prices of each of the items that make up the construction process to then choose the most economical and functional foundation. When working in a type of soft soil, i.e. a soil with low allowable stresses, it is essential to analyze the load transmitted from the foundation to the soil, as this will define the settlements and possible failures of the structure. The admissible stress of the soil is 1.5 kg/cm2, because of this it is important to obtain optimal designs of the aforementioned structural elements, being very appropriate to select the model that generates a uniform distribution of loads in the structure, in order to reduce the degree of deformation that can originate in the soil, thus alluding to the control of settlements due to excessive subsidence; The performance is evaluated by certain methods, which will determine the deformations suffered by the stratum with the applied loads. The analysis was carried out in the ETABS calculation program, which provided us with the load alternatives generated by the structure, and the SAFE program, in which the foundation slab was designed. With these results, through electronic sheets, the costs that such a structure would generate were determined, having in turn a convenient economic proposal.
