Diseño e implementación de un servicio web para determinar el score mama

Abstract

In this work, an exhaustive analysis of the parameters generated by the Score Mama protocol is carried out. Through the information collected during the research process, it has been found that the protocol established by the Ministry of Health of Ecuador presents a lack of updating. The main objective of the Breast Score is to reduce maternal deaths at the national level, and this approach has been fundamental for the development of the project. In addition, a web system has been designed that seeks to facilitate guidelines in situations of risk, where time plays a crucial role. Therefore, it is essential to create a user-friendly and practical system, which includes most of the necessary features, such as the implementation of obstetric alarms to guide health personnel in the actions they must carry out. The architecture of the web system to be conformed by a database makes effective the power to visualize, analyze and verify that all the data that is entered are correct and thus be able to avoid with the automation of the Score Mama that at the time of using this tool data is lost or values that should not be entered. In conclusion, the automation of this process will help improve the health service and prevent maternal death.
