El proceso de shotblasting y los riesgos en la salud de los trabajadores de la empresa Astinave EP

Abstract

Minimizing latent risks, whether they are varied or just one, will always be the priority of each company since most of the effectiveness and productivity depend on its low rate of success. Noise is a risk that plays an important role when carrying out the shotblasting process, speaking in terms of industrial maintenance, and it will continue to be one of the prevailing problems within shipyards despite being controlled. The objective of the authors is to determine how the shotblasting process impacts the health of the workers that make up the shot blasting workshop within the company Astinave EP and the analysis of a possible proposal. For this study model, a field investigation was used with the personnel involved, in this way it was possible to know for sure the process for its subsequent segregation, making use of quantitative methods and inquiry tools such as a virtual survey, It was possible to demonstrate in a technical and confident way how the physical risk of noise influences the hearing health of workers. In addition, in order to corroborate, access was obtained to the dosimetric information formally documented by the company carried out during the current year that governs it. It is concluded that the work carried out through the analysis of the dosimetric study, methods and quantitative tools indicated results, such as the dissatisfaction of the levels of mitigation and comfort of the operational personnel in the use of the PPE despite the fact that those already mentioned are granted by part of the company, for this, a possible proposal in terms of recommendation was analyzed, thus improving the subject in question.
