Abstract

Servimportados is a small service company, dedicated to the repair and maintenance of vehicles that has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, the company currently lacks a safety and environmental management system, however, due to its operational process In recent incidents in its operations, the need has arisen to evaluate the initial conditions of the business, in such a way that opportunities for improvement are detected that benefit the operability of the business. Through this technical project, the situational analysis of the company is carried out, using a proposal for the identification of possible defects and opportunities for improvement. During the development, documents are identified, compiled and analyzed in compliance with the current legal regulations regarding security and operation of the company. An action plan is developed based on the 5 "S" tool which allows us to reduce the occurrence of unsafe conditions and situations that affect the safety of workers and the environment, in order to achieve full compliance with technical requirements. laws applicable to the company and the development of a safety culture in the company that is sustainable over time through the work, leadership and commitment of all members, in addition to the implementation of safety and environmental management indicators allowing control optimally and thus establish a culture of prevention in the organization.
