Abstract

The road project carried out is developed in a length of 4 km with the objective of improving and expanding the section of the road "Saguangal - Las Golondrinas" from km 19+000 to km23+000; with the aim of improving the mobility of the section and promoting the development and social integration of the current living conditions of the inhabitants of the sector. In order to provide a solution to the current state of the road, the corresponding studies described in the development of the project were carried out, including field work. We carried out the topographic study in which a range of points in coordinates and height linked to plates placed with GPS at the beginning of the work was obtained as a result; Subsequently, we continued with the traffic and geometric study, obtaining values that allowed us to comply with current standards for road design, taking the existing road as a reference, which allows the safe circulation of both light and heavy vehicles and the design of the road. pavement structure. In addition, there is a hydrological - hydraulic and signaling study, which will allow us to improve road safety and maintain the useful life of the structure with an adequate road drainage system on the road. Finally, an environmental and economic-financial study was obtained, defining the environmental impacts that the future construction of the project will have and establishing the respective indicators such as the NPV, the TIR, the cost benefit and a schedule that allows us to have an indicator of the time of execution of the work.
