Pensando el pasado

Abstract

The main purpose of this project has as its foundation to disseminate technical processes of pottery and to build whistle bottles, what motivated the concept of this study was the lack of relevant information or school that keeps or disseminates this knowledge. These sound objects are only found in books. The fundamental reason to made these aero phone objects is share this knowledge with people through the investigation of different techniques which comes from some ancient cultures that belong to our tangible and intangible imaginary patrimonial to survive. Consequently, this investigation have let us to share this knowledge with people and allow the interaction of them with the objects around the exhibition.Thus, it was considered that the most effective way to make this proposal known and specially to give new life to these elements, is the creation of sample objects that were called didactic objects, which interweave knowledge in action by means of the artist, the clay and the spectator. Through the research of several authors and visits to museums and under the experience as a plastic artist in sculpture and pottery, it was possible to realize this problem raised that allows linking the public with these pre-Hispanic figures. The selection of these objects was not casual, it was chosen for their different systems that compose it, so these different structures address a knowledge that has been kept but in sight of everyone, as they are in books and museums that show the interest of debar this technology that they used at that time.
