La construcción del sentido de comunidad desde la apropiación del espacio público en el barrio el Manuelito en el año 2021

Abstract

The present paper is about the construction of a community sense from the appropriation of public space in the neighborhood "El Manuelito" in the year 2021. In this research, several observations were made on the sector with the purpose of knowing the changes in the public space such as the construction of streets, as well as to inquire into its problems and needs. In addition, the interview was used as a data collection tool in order to fulfill the main objective which focuses on knowing what are the meanings and practices of spatial appropriation of the inhabitants of the neighborhood "El Manuelito" which generate a community sense. In this research, subcategories are deployed to analyze the problem of the community sense, for example, the construction of places, identification with the place, recreational spaces, participation, sense of belonging to the environment, social identity and the breakdown of the community sense, terms that were analyzed in the course of this research in order to generate conclusions and recommendations for future community intervention work.
