Abstract

This technical titling project is a feasibility study for the network infrastructure of the Health Center of the Historic Center of Quito based on PPDIOO Cisco methodology which allowed analyzing the model of network infrastructure to advise a proposal for concise redesign for cover all the needs of the institution's network. Within the network redesign, the proposed network contemplates a new backbone connection model based on the different standardization norms for the different technology areas that the Health Center's network infrastructure manages. In addition, within the redesign, it will seek to provide solutions to the different physical areas of the network such as the Data center, equipment rooms and telecommunications rooms. Finally, through a network simulation differences between proposed Health Center of the Historical Center to determine the benefits and advantages of redesigning the network to the current network the current network and the network will be displayed.
