Resumen traducido: The present road project at the final layout level is 1.3 km long, between the War Academy and the C.C. River Mall, developed with the main objective of reducing traffic congestion at the entrance of the city of Sangolquí, therefore, it is feasible to expand to three lanes in the North - South direction; Studies were carried out both in the field and in the office, firstly the topographic survey was carried out, to continue with the traffic study obtaining the number of vehicles currently and those projected to a design period equal to 20 years, from there the number of equivalent axes, essential information to determine the thicknesses that make up the flexible pavement structure; On the other hand, with regard to the drainage works of the road, new lateral or window drains were designed, relocated and added that are tied to the combined networks of the Urbanization. Yaguachi and discharge the flow into the Santa Clara River; Regarding road signs, it was located horizontally and vertically, complying with the standards that guarantee safety, in terms of the environmental study, the environmental impacts were identified through the Leopold matrix, with respect to the economic-financial analysis, the financial indicators were determined, which are the NPV, the IRR and the benefit - cost ratio (B / C), indices that indicate the feasibility and profitability of the project. Regarding the feasibility study that has 1.7 km in length, between the Triangle sector and the War Academy due to the high population already consolidated with commercial businesses throughout this journey, and the cost that the compensation would result, it is concluded that it is not feasible to expand this section of track.
