La importancia del juego en el proceso de socialización de los estudiantes de cuarto año de Educación General Básica.

Abstract

The present research aims to assess the influence of play on the socialization process of fourth year students of Basic General Education, considering that play promotes the development of social skills, required for the child to consolidate their relationships of belonging with the group of his peers and at the same time strengthen a solid personality that allows him to be an active subject of his learning and can function confidently in his environment, to the extent that he respects and assumes the rules that guarantee a positive coexistence in the classroom and in contexts broader later. The research work arises from the questions about the management and treatment of the game as a factor of socialization in the environment of an Educational Institution, a referential framework is elaborated where it has been tried to synthesize the theoretical foundations of the game and the development of socialization that have allowed reflections throughout the investigative work. A mixed methodology has been used: qualitative and quantitative in order to collect and analyze from these perspectives the observations made on the development of games in the classroom environment, as well as surveys and interviews with teachers and managers of the educational environment. The information obtained was processed from a qualitative and quantitative analysis that is derived from the determined findings, the same that have allowed to establish the undeniable importance that the game has in the socialization processes of the fourth-year students of Basic General Education.
