Abstract

The present investigation is to determine the role of the male gender over the female in the Shuar ethnic group as well as occupy each of them within their community, that is why it is sought to determine the practices that these people perform and through the process investigation will be able to verify, will allow us an updated knowledge of the gender situation that exists in the shuar communities of the canton El Pangui.
