Abstract

Knowing about the life and the most important events that each of the relevant characters in the history of Ecuador is one of the most important aspects within the basic knowledge of each of the young university students, a qualitative methodology with a historical approach was used, for the realization of this communicative product, which represent the basis for the development of the radio capsules which cover the most important aspects of the most emblematic representatives of the country's history. For this, the main objective was established to highlight the emblematic characters of Ecuador through radio capsules or podcasts that allow maintaining the illustrious memory of its history within the memory of Ecuador, in the same way it was identified as specific objectives: to instruct through radio capsules to the new generations about the representative characters of our history, identify the iconic and representative characters in the history of Ecuador and detail the characteristics of each of the selected emblematic characters. The elaboration of these capsules allowed the young people to know important aspects of each of these characters, which will be reproduced in the halls of the university, so that the students learn and know more about the illustrious representatives of the history of the Ecuador.
