Diseño y construcción de un rodete de ventilador centrífugo de 100 cfm para el laboratorio de termofluidos de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana - Campus Kennedy

Abstract

The target of development of the currently project, is issued in order to determinate the standards for design a centrifugal fan wheel, and to verify the FM40 Fan equipment measurement design, which one belongs to thermofluid laboratory of Salesiana´s Polythechnic University.  First chapter of document, it shows targets, extension, theory which treat about centrifugal fans and it´s applications. Theory as formulae, equations, stages and graphs, they have been taken from books of recognized authors, in centrifugal fans matter. As another source of consultation, information was obtained from internet web sites; information of first chapter does not belongs to the Project owner author´s responsibility.  On second chapter, and as per formulae´s applications and theory of first chapter, verification of measurement of centrifugal fan (from thermofluid laboratory of Salesiana´s Polythechnic University) was done. Later, design of a centrifugal wheel fan with backward curved blades airfol model, was performed.  On the third chapter, manufacture of centrifugal wheel fan with backward curved blades airfoil model, was done, and performance test and analysis of effects were accomplished.  Once results were obtained, in fourth chapter, the conclusions and recommendations were described. As final part of this document, the references list has been included at the end of this document, and the planes and annex were attached at this document.
