Diseño de procesos para el departamento de auditoría médica en el hospital León Becerra de la ciudad de Guayaquil

Abstract

In this project the processes were designed and the existing flowcharts were modified as well in the Department of Medical Audit León Becerra Hospital of Guayaquil city in order to have a better Control and evaluate the relevant procedures and in that way the hospital patients receive a much better quality attention and thus contribute to its development. The problems arises in the implementation of tasks with their respective backgrounds justification and importance and the panned objectives, and to consider the need for implementing the Improvement in order to have a better functioning in that department, since according to the study, the lack of manuals and flowcharts make more complex the activity in the area, causing delays and duplication. Their objectives are to identify the processes of the Department of Medical Audit, to present the flowcharts to achieve an understanding of the operations and to contribute to the development of the area and suggest management indicators to determine the development of department operations. In Chapter IV the proposed process design for the Department of Medical Audit detailed to optimize the area, reducing time, streamlining the processes and to obtain efficiency and effectiveness of the department in concerned. Achieving the contribution of the optimization of the resources and time, making it clear the basis for further internal audits and suggesting indicators that get to measure the efficiency of the department and help standardize processes that match to the standards required by the international public health organization.
