| dc.description | The present work discusses the importance degree of alternative communication and community relations evidenced in recognition of the culture and history of San Juan district, located in the historic center of Quito, through a community magazine on a from the collaboration of students from surrounding schools sector (10 de Agosto, Mejia and Simón Bolívar), CAC and neighborhood organizations themselves. Alternative communication is the cornerstone of this work because it is from where you can demonstrate a new type of communication, away from the mass media, where the subject is who charge value and importance of creating content. Alternative print media were chosen in the present study as it was felt that these allow the community to be part of the selection process and content production that are of interest to the neighborhood. Culture and community relations reach a play an important role in this work because they are through the analysis thereof which could have a relationship with the San Juan district, which yielded information on the need for recognition of the inhabitants who had this place. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de grado trata sobre la importancia de la comunicación alternativa y las relaciones comunitarias evidenciadas en el reconocimiento a la cultura e historia del barrio San Juan, ubicado en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Quito, a través de una revista comunitaria realizada a partir de la colaboración de estudiantes de colegios aledaños al sector (10 de Agosto, Mejía y Simón Bolívar), el CAC y organizaciones propias del barrio. La comunicación alternativa es el pilar fundamental del presente trabajo, porque es a partir de ella donde se puede evidenciar un nuevo tipo de comunicación, alejada de los mass media, donde el sujeto es quien cobra valor e importancia dentro de la creación de los contenidos. Los medios impresos alternativos fueron elegidos dentro del presente trabajo, pues se consideró que estos permiten a la comunidad ser parte del proceso de selección y producción de contenidos que sean de interés para el barrio. | en_US |
